Clayton Reference CL006749
Site A major water treatment works on the Mersey Ship Canal.
Objective The site was problematic and required upgrading to provide automatic control and monitoring from the centralised control room.
Solution A comprehensive survey of the site was undertaken with information extracted from both the existing PLC systems and defining of new monitoring locations.
We designed, manufactured and programmed a number of PLC interface units to collect data from a variety of existing equipment.
Notes The system was installed and commissioned to the client’s requirements on an accelerated program which was not achievable through the conventional framework routes.
