Clayton & Co (Penistone) Limited is the parent company of Clayton Penistone Group.
The company was formed in 1895 to manufacture the “Certainty” range of warning signals, a stand alone audible warning device used within the railway industry. The Clayton Certainty range of signal detonators continue to be a valued part of our product range and are distributed world wide.
In 1988, under new management, whilst continuing to manufacture the warning signals, the company diversified its activity to include valve actuator maintenance and mechanical and electrical services.
