Job Type:                           Full-time, predominantly Mon to Fri, within the hours 6:30 to 6:30pm

Travel Time                        Paid to/from Penistone Works to Client Sites.

Clayton Project Engineering is a Mechanical & Electrical contractor working within the water utility sector undertaking contracts ranging from £10k to £750k.

This role would be based from our Penistone works, undertaking installation & Maintenance on sites operated by Yorkshire Water.

This role would be reporting to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

• The installation of Mechanical and Electrical equipment which has been supplied designed as per the client specifications.
• Installation of PVC pipework and ancillaries (single / dual contained / flexible pipes)
• On Site & Off Site manufacture & Installation of Chemical dosing System, including manufacture of dosing rigs in house.
• Installation of Ductile Iron pipework and ancillaries.
• To comply with the companies & clients policies & procedures to maintain our Safety, Health, Quality & Environment Standards.
• Working on Clean Potable Water & Waste Water sites.
• Working as part of a multi skilled team/s.
• Undertaking on site commissioning / testing
• Daily reporting of complete work to the Site / Operation Manager.
• Daily organisation of tasks on site in line with construction program.
• Positive attitude to completing the work efficiently & on time.

Minimum Qualifications

• QCF Level 3 in Engineering or Construction Related Discipline, (NVQ3 higher)
• CSCS Gold Card in a construction related mechanical discipline.
• Full Driving Licence

• The Installation of Industrial Electrical equipment, including Cable Tray, Trunking, SWA Cables, Glanding & Terminating.
• The Installation of Industrial, Kiosk & some Office Building Services, including PVC & Steel Conduit, Trunking, Lighting, & small power.
• To comply with the companies policies & procedures to maintain our Safety, Health, Quality & Environment Standards

Minimum Qualifications

QCF Level 3 in a Engineering or Construction Related Discipline, (NVQ3 higher)

ECS Gold Card Installation or Maintenance Electrician

Full Manual Driving License

Due to client Authorisation processes preference will be given to those who have held an ECS Gold Card for longer than 12 months.
